Our Roots
Avalon was born from a need,
the need for care that truly sees us.
Not just care for the body,
but for the whole of us: emotional, relational, spiritual.
The kind of care that holds space through immense transitions — beginnings, endings, rebirths.
It’s about seeing people as whole beings. Listening deeply.
Working integratively.
Offering support that adapts to each story.
I dreamt of Avalon for years.
A place where people feel met. Held.
Guided.
Supported.
This is about humanising care again, recognising the many layers we carry, and creating care that meets them all.
This is our root.
And from here, everything grows.

Our Philosophy
At Avalon Maternal Care, we offer more than services, we offer presence.
Every journey to motherhood is deeply personal, and we honor that. Rooted in holistic practices, cultural sensitivity, and gentle, intuitive care, our offerings are shaped by your needs and rhythms.
Here, maternal care is personal, multilingual, and heart-led. We are honored to nurture, support, and empower your unique journey into motherhood.
Why Avalon
In Celtic myth, Avalon was a place of healing, a land associated with deep knowledge and feminine wisdom.
It was said to be guided by women: priestesses, healers, and guardians of life’s thresholds. Among them were the Nine Sisters of Avalon, each carrying her own gifts, collectively watching over birth, death, and transformation.
The name Avalon reflects not just inspiration, but intention.
What we offer is more than a service, it is a space. A space between worlds: between trying and becoming, between letting go and beginning again, between who we were and who we are becoming.
This work lives in that in-between, in the uncertain, the raw, and the transformative middle.
Like the island, Avalon is a space of return, of restoration, remembering, and becoming. We don’t recreate the myth. We carry it forward, as a living space of healing, made real again.
Welcome to Avalon, our new age healing ground.
Our Ethos
How we move. How we care. What we stand on.
• We believe care is relational, something you belong to, not just something you book.
• Your rhythm leads. We honour your pace, your story, and your body’s wisdom.
• Whole-person support: evidence-based, intuition-led, culturally aware, and trauma-informed.
• Every path is valid. There is no single “right” way to mother, only your way.
We focus on building trust, tailoring each experience, and offering thoughtful, responsive support at every stage of your journey.
Meet the Founder
From a very early age, I felt a consistent pull toward supporting mothers, families, and the profound transitions that shape the beginning of life.
Over time, this became a defined path, combining formal training in maternal care, newborn care, and postpartum support with years of hands-on experience working directly with families across pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
I have supported more than 50 families through these transitions, developing a practice rooted in both clinical understanding and lived, continuous care.
My work focuses on what is often missing in traditional systems: continuity, emotional grounding, and personalised support that adapts to the reality of each family rather than a predefined model of care.
This naturally led me to specialise in international and expat families, those navigating pregnancy and early parenthood away from familiar systems, often without extended support networks.
Having lived across countries myself, I understand this transition from both sides: professionally and personally.
It is from this intersection of training, experience, and context that Avalon was created.
Avalon is a structured, high-touch model of maternal and family support designed to accompany families through pregnancy, postpartum, and early family life in a way that is continuous, adaptive, and deeply personal.
My role as founder is to ensure that this standard of care remains refined, intentional, and grounded in real experience. I remain closely involved in the evolution of the work, drawing from ongoing practice and training across maternal wellbeing, newborn care, and early family transitions.
At its core, Avalon is built on a simple principle:
No two families require the same form of support, and care should reflect that.
Everything is designed to meet families where they are, with precision, presence, and adaptability.
And it is an honour to support the families who entrust me with their journey.
“To care for mothers is to care for generations.”
